I had heard things about this classy British show dealing with vampires. Finally having gotten my hands on it, it's quite a departure from most shows or movies dealing with the 'v' word. Interestingly, the show never mentions the word 'vampire' but rather refers to the vampiric infection as 'Code Five' or the infected individuals as 'leeches'. More of a police type show than a horror one, UV has some fascinating characters and some typically low-key stiff upper-lip Brit performances- again a refreshing change from over-acting and hyper-emoting US melodrama.

Definitely worth checking out if you like stylish takes on old ideas.
