It was like the opening of an indie movie that knew it's heartfelt story had to grab people from the very first scene and just like Colin Farrell in 'Intermission', understood the value of a shocking scene to grab attention and build a faith that would reel people in and make them believe in what they were going to experience enough to forgive the occasional boring bits.
I was standing at the bus-stop shelter, which is a square glass enclosure with a similarly transparent glass roof when this somewhat dishevelled looking man walks up beside me and straight into the glass wall of the shelter.
It was a shock to the system watching whom I presumably thought was drunk or mental walk full-on into a glass wall and then look around and proclaim 'I'm blind'.
Later on, this other drunk/stoned/mental character was up top-deck in a double-decker bus and passing a group of lads on the way to the stairs down, he hears someone laughing as he stumbles and nearly falls over and walks back, asking who laughed at him.
To give the boys their due, they told him to calm down and that nobody was laughing at him. I wasn't anywhere near as patient and would have kicked him down the stairs for being such a paranoid jackass case.
