So The California State Legislature voted for same-sex marriage in an interestingly phrased bill which shocked many by passing the house and now being sent on to Gov.Schwarzenegger. As many commentators have noted already, this could be a make or break point for his administration and also to see how closely he values his ties with his party, given his divergence of views on other famous issues.
As always, with articles of this nature, it shocks me how determined and dogged the hate-filled anti-gay marriage protestors come across as. If they would just stop and think for a few seconds, they would realize that all this bill and other ones like it are asking, is to respect everyone's rights and subscribe to a policy of common human decency.
