So, as a lifelong SK fan, and a subscriber to the stephen king email newsletter updates twice a weeek; latest news is that SK is writing a book on the Red Sox. Superb news, even if you're not a sports fan. Why? Because he's Stephen King. And because he's a bloody good writer. And because he's passionate about sports, especially Baseball- and especially the Sox. It's exciting and it''s good news as it shows that despite all the dreary stories about King retiring and so on, that he's still passionate enough and dedicated enough to write about things that he likes, that he finds interesting and that he doesnt have to do at all for any other reason except for personal fascination and joy.

And that's what it's all about really, isn't it? Imagine gettign up each morning and going ' Yay! I have to work today'. Hmmmmmmm
